Depart

She  arose to dawn's light passing with ease through the dusty window. She let herself stare at the specks of dust dancing and reflecting in dawn's light, colliding and tickling her nose. She smiled letting her glistening teeth let out a small giggle. She came to her feet allowing her silky gown float above her smooth porcelain skin. She gazed out of the dusty glass, the golden light weaving through her emerald green eyes and shining a sweeter light onto the world. She took a deep breath letting the warm air fill her lungs and arched her back feeling a tingle flow through her spine. She exhaled and swung her arms letting herself spin as her long charcoal black hair swirled around her face. She fell to the hard floor basking in the light, dark strands of hair hung from her soft rosy lips. Her happiness seemed to give her the impression that she was floating. She turned to her stomach and her hand knocked against something sharp and echoed like glass. From under her hand she revealed a shard of glass from a mirror, the shard was was stained and dripping thick with a liquid that only resides under the surface of human flesh and flows within our veins. She rose up to her feet and looked over to the mirror that hung quietly upon her wall. Her gaze remains on the shattered mirror, missing pieces of glass scattered on the warm floor. Her sight shifted from the mirror to the corpse laid broadly on the floor. Their faces copied each other's exactly with but a few differences. The corpse's face bore lacerations on her face which dripped with the ruby red liquid that lay beneath her flesh. Her charcoal black hair stained with red and matted strewn across her face. Her rosy lips were now a deep violet dulled by the lack of life. Her skin, grey and cold, was splattered with the scarlet signs of life slipping away. Her once beautiful gown was now stained and slashed from the many jagged shards protruding from her cold flesh. She turned to the dusty window as the golden light grew brighter, it turned white and blinded her temporarily. She opened her eyes and the white light  reflected off the beautiful green that laid in her eyes. Her lips parted showing her perfect smile as she began to walk into the light.
