Descended
From embers
A note torn
In pieces
Blakened chalk edges
Licked by the flames
Words not intended
Ever to reach him
So now she burns them
In attempt to take away her pain
But her tears
Still sit on her skin
Burning
Like the fire that destroys
All evidence
Of anything
She ever said
Anyone she ever loved
As if she’d never had her heart broken

this is great and evokes the feelings of temperature & touch which is very unique as most other writers focus on sight and smell. I love the way it reads and flows like a story. Keep going you have a talent and i love the references to glass in your poems with it's fragility and many pieces-wonderful :-)

Thank you, I intended it to be read that way, I like to tell stories with metophors. Glass is one I often use, it facinates me and keeps me inspired=)
