THE NEVER ENDING YOU

The smile that started wars.

And stopped a few.

Her entrance

suspended in liquid prism crystal.

Flaws to fall in love with.

Blessed I was to penetrate an aura of warmth.

To feel her nude breasts against my back.

Does she remember me?

Am I tucked away within a wrinkle in her brain?

Such silly questions we ask ourselves.

Her photograph wouldn't burn,

and it's moved by ghosts whenever I want to forget.

Moved to places I cannot ignore.

You're still here sweetness.

You'll never know how many whispers of your name

are lost within the atmosphere.

You'll never know how many tears

I've lost in my pillow.

Sense is a tricky time machine,

moving forever to the past.

leaving me exactly as I am

to witness

the never ending

you...
