Trapped within

    
She prepares for another day.
Another war.
Another battle lost.
Another flesh wound. On her heart.

She battles the person with in
Day in and day out
Her greatest enemy is the one she cant escape.
Herself.

The demons with in her being are demanding and unforgetful.
She cant be relieved of her past.
She cant make them stop.
She, is trapped in a never ending cycle of regret.

She lost who she was
thats when the demons began to consume
They are becoming a part of who she is
She cant make them leave

Haunted by her past,
haunted by her mistakes.
Haunted by the horrid memories
Held captive by the past
Her fears she cant subside
