A Flash of Light
Blinding like a flash of light you appeared
You flashed before me in one fleeting moment
You lit up the sky and filled it with brilliance
The air seemed to come alive in your presence
But as quickly as you appeared you vanished
Leaving me alone in the cold and dark once more
