I didn't know what to call this one. Kind of wrote it on the spot. Suggestions are appreciated.
Every day I live,
Death looks sweeter and sweeter.
Growing up,
Girls would see a couple
Walking in the park
At a restaurant
And think,
"That'll be me one day."
Growing up,
I'd see a funeral procession
Going down the street
And I'd think,
"That'll be me one day."
Now
All those little girls
Are getting boyfriends,
Walking in the park
Going on dinner dates
Living their dreams.
Now,
All grown up,
I am waiting
For it to happen to me.
