Clouds

As joyful sun breaks somber clouds apart
There should be light and love in war torn heart
Breathing in  brief peace, temporary delight
What one would give to avoid dark brooding sight

Brutal thunder beats horizon  black and blue
To close hopeless eyes and not see what is true
Clawing branches grasp at brooding ghost
Secrets lurk to take what's valued most.

Loyalty a crown and a cross
Protect one on the other face the loss

Protect loves heart loves life
Remove the symbol cause of strife
