Tears or rain?

It's going to rain, it's going to pour
Stop just briefly then rain some more
The clouds will darken quickly again
Sometime so not sure when

It's going to fall from the sky
Like tears from someone who has to cry
The temperature may drop
But the pain of a person suffering will not stop

Thunder roars and rumbles across the land
Lightening follows with force and on demand
May the wind blow everything away
That bothers us and rather stay

The ground is moist and wet
As common as fears and regret
Puddles in time form
From the tears or the storm?

The light of the sun has been covered
Like dreams and needs that are often smothered
Cannot see the stars and barely a glimpse of the moon
We can only hope that releif may come soon

Fog slowly as usual rolls on in
Another phase to begin
As a different challenge sets the stage
A storm passes, yet a part of society can't turn the page
