I Have a Jacket
Yes, I have a jacket
It keeps me oh so warm Even though the sleeves are torn
It may not seem as much But there's more to it than know For it keeps somethings, years ago
Yes, memories and events Many I may not even recall But it has yet seen them all
For it lives in me It is here to stay Till the ends of day
Thats what I think But as it gets worn It becomes more torn
It’s hope may seem lost But its my best friend And it may give in
And I hope you may heed Knowledge from this Because the hidden message
Is that this
The jacket is my friend And I am it’s
It’s not here forever So make the most of it
It keeps me oh so warm Even though the sleeves are torn
It may not seem as much But there's more to it than know For it keeps somethings, years ago
Yes, memories and events Many I may not even recall But it has yet seen them all
For it lives in me It is here to stay Till the ends of day
Thats what I think But as it gets worn It becomes more torn
It’s hope may seem lost But its my best friend And it may give in
And I hope you may heed Knowledge from this Because the hidden message
Is that this
The jacket is my friend And I am it’s
It’s not here forever So make the most of it
