Storm Bird
Fly storm bird, fly
See the world recede,
As you climb
Way up high,
You feel
The sun die,
And with your eyes
Of darkest hour,
You acknowledge
That this is your power.
As you rocket
Through the sky,
Accompanied by
The screech of winds,
Tearing past,
You dip and you dive
Through the valleys,
Over the oceans
Creating waves,
Of wind-whipped
Cresting,
Snow flecked blue.
Hammer the hills
And crush the trees,
With the hefty winds
That support thee.
The earth is flailed,
With the blows of your wings,
The people cower,
Lightning fast,
You swoop lower and lower,
See how they run,
And hide,
From your godly power.
See the world recede,
As you climb
Way up high,
You feel
The sun die,
And with your eyes
Of darkest hour,
You acknowledge
That this is your power.
As you rocket
Through the sky,
Accompanied by
The screech of winds,
Tearing past,
You dip and you dive
Through the valleys,
Over the oceans
Creating waves,
Of wind-whipped
Cresting,
Snow flecked blue.
Hammer the hills
And crush the trees,
With the hefty winds
That support thee.
The earth is flailed,
With the blows of your wings,
The people cower,
Lightning fast,
You swoop lower and lower,
See how they run,
And hide,
From your godly power.
