Little Red
You said come Little Red
Why didn't I listen to myself instead
It was I you broke
When I came out of my cloak
With a true honest blessing
I came to you uncertain, still guessing
Wounds blossoming like a rose
Skipping along, alone on my nervous toes
Caught in your ruby teeth
Nobody sees your wolves tirelessly stalking me
Drowning my thoughts with screams
I cut down your horrid, daunting trees
These woods go on forever
I never wanted this to go together
If I ripped your stomach open
Would your lies spill out leaving me heartbroken?
I only fill with stones
I have no more generous soft emotions
You said come Little Red
Why didn't I listen to myself instead
I hear your howling songs again
Afraid and sleepless, I shake in my bed
I came to you only alone
Uncovered, only flesh and bone
You said come Little Red
But im no longer here, just dead
Why didn't I listen to myself instead
It was I you broke
When I came out of my cloak
With a true honest blessing
I came to you uncertain, still guessing
Wounds blossoming like a rose
Skipping along, alone on my nervous toes
Caught in your ruby teeth
Nobody sees your wolves tirelessly stalking me
Drowning my thoughts with screams
I cut down your horrid, daunting trees
These woods go on forever
I never wanted this to go together
If I ripped your stomach open
Would your lies spill out leaving me heartbroken?
I only fill with stones
I have no more generous soft emotions
You said come Little Red
Why didn't I listen to myself instead
I hear your howling songs again
Afraid and sleepless, I shake in my bed
I came to you only alone
Uncovered, only flesh and bone
You said come Little Red
But im no longer here, just dead
