A Fragile Heart
I stand alone
And as I fall,
Time slows
I throw out my hand
To be caught,
To avoid the pain
But who knows,
Maybe I am
Truly alone
If I listen to,
The cruelties of fate
Of memories past,
The it will break,
My tortured mind, my broken soul,
And my fragile heart
I stand,
And brush off the dust
The skin of my knees,
All broken and bloody,
But the skin of my heart, remains intact.
And as I fall,
Time slows
I throw out my hand
To be caught,
To avoid the pain
But who knows,
Maybe I am
Truly alone
If I listen to,
The cruelties of fate
Of memories past,
The it will break,
My tortured mind, my broken soul,
And my fragile heart
I stand,
And brush off the dust
The skin of my knees,
All broken and bloody,
But the skin of my heart, remains intact.
