He watched her from afar
Never saying a word
Keeping close
But not so much as to be noticed
Followed her everywhere

She unknowingly
Went about her days
Never thinking that he would
Return.
Not thinking that maybe
He would come for her

Innocently going about
Never knowing of the danger

was constantly in.

He plotted
He planned
Waiting for the day
The day he would reveal

She was a creature of habit
For it brought comfort

She had her wits about her
Cautious and caring

He watched her like a hawk
Observing his prey
waiting for her
fateful day.

The day it happened
Began like the rest
She went about her daily routine
But then she did something...
Unexpected
And he took his chance

Chased after her
She ran so fast
Hid away
But everywhere she turned
He was there
He trapped her.
She fought
She did
But to no avail
For it was he who did prevail
He took his time
pinned her down
No allowance for escape
Showed no mercy...

For she left him
He would call
She wouldn't answer
He would write
Receiving no response
He hated being ignored
He hated her for leaving
Leaving him and shutting him out

A mockery.
He expressed all his hatred
All his pent up anger
His revenge was
sweet

He always said he loved her to death...
