It blows my fucking mind thinking
of just how much I care
Despite the dreams I often have
Im here and you are there
Not sure just why you left
But my world turned upside down
That smile you always gave me
now has turned into a frown
I know that I am married
but it's YOU that have my heart
And you know it fucking kills me
that we have to be apart
Its been like, several weeks
since i've even seen your face
but your image has been on my mind
and can never be misplaced
I tried so hard to hate you
and put you in my past
You hurt me when you up and left
it happened all too fast
Tell me that i'm yours once more
and my dreams will have come true

I am trapped in my own marriage
I live my life in fear
He keeps me in a package
And seals it with my tear
He puts holes in walls, and breaks things
His ego steers his way
His hurtful words and accusations
force me to stray
I drown in my own sorrows
'Cause no matter what I do
I cant seem to break away
desperation's proving true
All I crave is happiness
to feel like I am wanted
it's wondering when he'll hit again
that always leaves me taunted
My mother was just like me
and it got to be too much
she laid down on the railroad tracks
and took way more than a punch
Now she is my angel
who keeps watch over my smile
she sent my lover to me
I wont settle for denial
If I didnt have his memory
to save me from the pain
i would feel so lost and lonely
And I would surely die in vain.
