A Theory of Everything
Scientists have said that space and time are the two most important observable phenomena in our universe, whereas many philosophers would tell us that time and space are merely illusions used to keep us from being unproductive burdens on society. What if they are both correct?
What if time and space as a whole (meaning everything in the observable universe) is merely an illusion or simulation that we use to our own selfish ends? There are already several hypotheses that exist contemplating the nature of reality aside from the big bang. One hypothesis states that the entire universe and everything in it may be a computer type program. We are already beginning towards the first steps to being able to create computers with the capabilities to create entire virtual worlds. This, undoubtedly, is where speculation becomes a tool for the insane.
What if we are already in a virtual world? Even more insane is the idea that, perhaps, God is a computer , and we are all inside the mind of God. When dealing with such speculation that can never be proven why stop there? Perhaps the entire universe as we know it is merely an organ in the greater scheme of the cosmos. Perhaps galaxies are nothing but atoms with gravity effecting them differently due to the fact that a cosmic being would function so much more drastically different than a mere human. Just perhaps the big bang was the simulations ON switch on some almost inconceivable program allowing creation to begin its simulated reality that we can never hope to fully understand until we are able to create our own advanced simulation.
