The Destruction of Sins?
As a Glutton for Punishment
I Lusted after the thought
And wanted to hoard it Greedily
Enacting Wrath on all who disturb me
In my Slothful basking
Vainly preening my Pride
But all the while Envious.
Envious of Wrath’s Greedy and Vain Gluttonous Lust of Pride and the Slothful security.
So I entered Wrath’s kingdom
To have my will to power come
And waited before him as he
Sat there on his throne before me
Obsessed over polishing his sword
Just wasting that power and being bored.
I purposefully approached Wrath
Seeking to have all he hath
And raised my arms above his arrogant head
Crowning him with thorns that made him dead
And toppled his body from that accursed throne
Taking my place, before he could even groan.
And I roared War
Against all I saw
So it has become to be
It is clear to you and me
To avoid the Seven Deadly Sins
Take one, it still makes Evil grins.
