Can You Love You?
If you are surrounded
By friends and family
Who love you,
Why don't you love you?
If you have a special someone
Who loves you dearly,
Why can't you love yourself too?
In our society,
We are trained to think
Higher of others,
But lower of ourselves.
But have you ever tried
Loving yourself?
Accepting who you are?
Why can't you love yourself too?
