The money game

Are you one of those?
Does God shine a silver light upon you?
Do you walk upon golden roads?
Middle class and free.
Is the best way to be.
For he throws rocks at me,
Infected me with rebel blood
And brain that see's too many trees
And not enough woods.
And why God have you
Given me a heart that burns,
That yearns for justice and freedom?
An anarchist spirit within my bones.
I tried to follow party lines
And played along with the fools.
But anger seeped from every pore
As i watched monsters of men,
Grease their way to the top.
I didn't know or understand
How to play the money game.
