Just a delusion
I see the red all around me
Spilled out fresh upon the floor
Its scarlet color tantalizes me
Sends me in a frenzy
And dear God
No matter what I may have thought
I just ought
To stop now
But I stay here bowed
In silent prayer
With bitter sweet tears
spilling upon the floor
dripping into the oceans floor
An endless sea of red
Which torrents more and more
Till I noticed it was merely
Just a delusion
And all it was
was nothing more than a river
That has now gone dry
With a cold shiver
I take my cleaver
And toss it away
As I stare
At her blood clot hair
Yes oh sweet pleasure
Which came for a moment
That had been brought about
By a lifetime of torment
Spilled out fresh upon the floor
Its scarlet color tantalizes me
Sends me in a frenzy
And dear God
No matter what I may have thought
I just ought
To stop now
But I stay here bowed
In silent prayer
With bitter sweet tears
spilling upon the floor
dripping into the oceans floor
An endless sea of red
Which torrents more and more
Till I noticed it was merely
Just a delusion
And all it was
was nothing more than a river
That has now gone dry
With a cold shiver
I take my cleaver
And toss it away
As I stare
At her blood clot hair
Yes oh sweet pleasure
Which came for a moment
That had been brought about
By a lifetime of torment
