Silver Lining

Lunar crest
Cloudy night
She tried her best
To be alright

Windy breeze
Fills the trees
And on her knees
She begs and pleas

Rain is dripping
Puddles forming
Skin is ripping
Blood is pouring

Skies start to clear
The wind ceases
But the ends too near
She’s all in pieces

The sun comes out
The rain is through
No more no doubt
What she has to do

Peaceful life
Puffy clouds float
She takes a knife
And cuts her throat

It’s far too late
The sun is shining
Sometimes with fate
Theres no silver lining
