Good Mourning

 
I hope that you had a good night's rest,
After last evening's mourning.
But now, I'm wishing you all the best,
Wake up now, its good morning.

Another day has passed,
Another life has gone.
Another person harassed,
And now, it is a new dawn.

I hope you don't feel mistreated,
I've really tried my hardest!
Though my apologies are repeated,
I know I'm not the smartest.

I've left you all alone in the world,
When the darkness had unfurled.
