Open Your Eyes
Why is it
That every morning,
I open my eyes to a world of hate?
A world that,
Surely,
We do not want to live in.
In every corner,
There's someone in search of a home.
In every shadow,
There is some kind of malevolence
Just waiting for the right time to show itself.
I wake up to a world
Where in every inch,
There has to be some kind of trash.
And everyday,
I find poor, starving strays,
Left on the street.
Is the entire world blind
To the problems
We ourself cause?
If our society
Was suddenly...
That every morning,

Black and White
As I hang onto a sliver of thread,
Within an inch of my life,
I realize that I've always seen the world
In black and white.
So go and tell your family,
Your sons, your daughters, your wife,
To always see the world in colour
And hang on with all your life.

Paces
I'll be counting every step I take
Until the very last move I make.
So when my life slips by
And you feel like you could cry,
Remember me forevermore,
And that when it rains,
It always pours.

LOVE POEM

Falling
The first time I fell,
I tried to get back up,
But there was some kind of gravity
Holding me down.
At first,
I thought it was the density
Of my own heart.
So I checked.
Then I realized it couldn't be so,
Because my heart was broken.
Shattered,
More like,
So I tried to put it back together,
And ended up getting more cuts
Than fixing it.
So now here I am,
In the safety
Of the walls I built.
Right around the pieces
Of my tattered soul.
Then the next person comes, ...
I tried to get back up,

Knowledge
Kowledge is power,
But if it's true,
That the more we learn,
The less we know,
Then I would love to remain
Blissfully ignorant.
Because nothing in this world,
Can block out my pain
Better than my own stupidity.
And if you thought,
That I was smart,
I obviously wasn't.
Not if I fell for you.
But if it's true,
That the more we learn,

Running Around
Backand forth, back and forth,
You make me run in circles around you,
You have utter control, and will have nothing more.
I have no say, of course,
But sometimes,
I wish I did.
And I just keep running in circles.
Growing dizzy,
Falling down,
You really don’t care what I do,
As long as I keep running in circles around you.
I will do this as long as I live,
Never to be free from you.
So,
Tell me,
Why am I the one running circles?
Because this life...
You make me run in circles around you,

All I do now,

Good Mourning
I hope that you had a good night's rest,
Afterlast evening'smourning.
But now, I'm wishing you all the best,
Wake up now, its good morning.
Another day has passed,
Another life has gone.
Another person harassed,
Andnow, it isa new dawn.
I hope you don't feel mistreated,
I've really tried my hardest!
Though my apologies are repeated,
I know I'm not the smartest.
I've left you all alone in the world,
When thedarkness had unfurled.
