Over Thinker
What defines us as human beings?
As thinkers of this new generation.
Can we say that we have done something meaningful?
When is it too late to start over again?
Life seems to be full of questions for some people
For others, there's simply no analysis;
There's only parties and good times.
Can I be like them?
Not having to worry,
Not caring for what life has to throw at me.
Why do I focus on the ground in which I fall after every step?
Is it ok for me to question every question that goes through my mind?
As the memory of alcohol shifts me into gear
to say words I would never say;
I fall so deep I cannot bear anymore to think.

We're not the only ones I'm sure. Even though our mind has us believe different and our heart know of no reasons to believe that solitude is not the only way.
