Wish never true
Can I ask for something?
Call me tonight
let me hear your voice
make my wish come true.
It's so hard to forget
that we once shared this love,
it's not easy to remember
that you no longer feel the same.
Today's just another day
where year by year they say
make a wish as you blow the candles,
year after year, never happens.
It's always good to dream
it's up to you to make them true,
but there are certain wishes
that are just not meant to be.
So this my only hope,
I know it's all in vain,
but I cannot help but to keep on hoping
to hear your voice say:
Happy Birthday!
