This Is Why
This is why I am this way,
This is why I feel like this,
Constant degrading words,
Chafing against the straps that hold my heart,
Tearing me and ensnaring me in it’s womb,
All this pain that infiltrates me,
All this forced upon and unseen grief,
This is the beast that is me,
This is why… why can’t you see,
All this pain wrought upon me,
I don’t know why life is this way,
This is Why I am this way
This is why I feel like this,
