Choking
Your silence destroys me, your casual drive by’s haunt me
Altogether you seem so calm, and inside myself I’m screaming
blood drips from my heart and it fills me
the hand on my throat keeps closing
I can’t move and I can’t speak, you keep walking away
Nothing I do can change it, I am about to die
You turn away smiling, and my heart implodes
No more I beg you, no more, please stay
I never knew before. I didn’t know...
I felt you inside me and it was home
You turned and ripped it out and its gone
I walk, I work, I talk, I breathe. But baby. I am dead.
