Your Physical Abuse

From the black eyes

To the bruises on my soul

To the promises you forever told

Saying"baby I love you & I'll never hurt you"

But the truth of the matter is that everything you said wasn't true.

You've said it time & time again

But time & time again all I see is the back of your hand

Going across my face

Or even a fist going against my waist

Because you don't wanna leave a trace.

You  see me cry & cry over you

And sometimes I even ask you why do you do the things you do.

But all you seem to say is " baby I love you and I do the things I do because  of you."

You  blame everything on me

Because its hard for you to really see

That you're nothing but a little boy trying to  hide behind me.

I love you but I can't take the shit you do

And you say it's because you're afraid of losing me

But why can't you really see the pain that you're causing me

But I can't only blame you, it's my fault too because I stay and let you do this to me

But hopefully  you will see what I see

And that is that we're not meant to be.



THIS POEM IS 4 ALL THE LADIES WHO'VE EVER BEEN ABUSED.YOU DON'T HAVE 2 PUT UP WITH IT.YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU CAN DO BAD ALL BY YOURSELF.YOU DON'T NEED NO COWARD 2 PUT HIS HANDS ON YOU THEN LIE AND SAY IT'S BECAUSE HE  LOVES YOU AND THAT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!
