Observation of the Staircase

I have an opinion about those stairs/why would I write it if no one cares?/simply because it's there/and I can't just talk it into the air
So there

Now what I noticed about the steps/-(read close so you don't forget)-/hopefully its a message you'll get/but only if you let/
It sink in and absorb
So let me explain/it's kind of insane/kind of plain/but what the stairs portray/is an illusion to get away/or ascend to something greater/maybe a better job or behavior/its a lesson you should savor/but only if you favor/making something better than what it was/maybe this poem is a lost cause/so I'll leave it to your thoughts/hopefully you didn't get lost
