Heavy

I know just what it is that you’re trying to prove
I know just what you think that I can do for you
I know you think I should believe in what you telling me
Because it could lift this weight, this heaviness I see
But it’s in the way
Yes it in the way

And I
Got a heavy heart, rolling like thunder
Coming from a part of me that’s on fire
And falling down like rain
Got a heavy heart
And I don’t know if I’m strong enough

I hear you tell me that you want to help fix me
And then make promises you hope that I can see
I hear you but I’m angry and I can’t see just what you see
Because I feel forgotten like so many months at sea
This the water on my face
Comes at a heavy pace

And I
Got a heavy heart, rolling like thunder
Coming from a part of me that’s on fire
And falling down like rain
Got a heavy heart
And I don’t know if I’m strong enough

To catch myself when I am falling
To open up my chest and let it feel
When you say your love’s for real

‘Cause I
Got a heavy heart, rolling like thunder
Coming from a part of me that’s on fire
And falling down like rain
Got a heavy heart
And I don’t know if I’m strong enough
