War Begun
I found life on the empty streets
Maybe I should dissipate the potency of this poison
Windows that stretch far above my head
Light giving in
This castle of metallic sin
Voice call, but so utterly soundless
The waves of anger roll like a virus
and though, we cannot see
The haplessness in the kindness we spread
And those we suffocate in our shadows
There is a nothingness in living
that creeps into our dismay
An eternalness in the empty buildings
Built from metal and sun
Stop, the war has begun
Maybe I should dissipate the potency of this poison
Windows that stretch far above my head
Light giving in
This castle of metallic sin
Voice call, but so utterly soundless
The waves of anger roll like a virus
and though, we cannot see
The haplessness in the kindness we spread
And those we suffocate in our shadows
There is a nothingness in living
that creeps into our dismay
An eternalness in the empty buildings
Built from metal and sun
Stop, the war has begun
