i have so much hurt to say i'm young
i've lost so much in the years
sometimes i wonder why i'm still here
memories dance across my mind
how the world can be so unkind
i have only myself
but i must fake a smile
so that they don't see my frown
my eyes tell the truth
the window to my soul
if you look there
the hurt you will see has grown

It would help if you were to describe the magnitude of the hurt you claim to be going through. Also, if you only have yourself, why hide your pain from people who aren't there? Please explain.

well i lost my mom last month i'm still hurting by that and i have to hide the pain from my family so they wont worry
