If I was a mystery
who would solve me?
Would anyone seek my clues?
Know where to find
my reasons?
Would anyone try?
Pour through every word I wrote,
searching for the magic one?
Will someone reade my books?
Uncover my secrets?
Will you paint your nails red
until I see you again?

The final line of this poem adds a vagueness which I find enchanting. A dark and strange and moving piece. Only one minor niggle: in the context of the line you should have written "pore" rather than "pour." Other than that this is divine. It has the qualities of a song.

I really love how simply put this poem is and that it contains so much mystery is so few words good job :-)

I read this poem for the first time, answered every question. I would solve you. Yes, I would look for the clues I already know. I would find the words you wrote to tell the world WHY. I get to the last question and I begin to cry because I had to answer no. No I did not paint my nails red until you came back. I felt crushed. I was so angry with myself.
