Sclerotic memories

Sclerotic grey memories of the ease with your wife
Fossilized impressions of your own smile
What happened to your so well planned life
Can you even remember how happy you walked down the aisle?

Archived adventures in her leather skin binding
Can you recall the beginnings end
How did it come she stopped minding
When did you started to like to offend

When was the last time you called her a friend
Where do you go to find affection
Did you not see how she did constantly bend
Crying at night for all this rejection

Are you still alive inside your metal casing
Does your heart soaked in formaldehyde still beat
Do you even know what you are chasing
Would you ever admit your own defeat

Stand up and rise your plastic backbone
Be man enough to avow yourself what happened to be
Your dull soul turned into fouling stone
Go home and set her free
