Trailing in the alley,
I hope I didn't go too far.
Catching shadows in the dark.
I'm lost in silenced blindness,
For sight I'd wish a spark.
Instead I'm fearing shadows in the dark.

I like this because that "alley" could be work or an unavoidable social event or an abusive home
