Romance Died
The romance in me has died
He slowly killed it every time he lied.
I remember when our love had so much fire
Now when I look at him I have no desire.
The blame is on him for turning me cold
My plan was to love him until I grew old.
No longer do I believe in love forevermore
Tho I yearn to be the lady somebody will forever adore.
My broken heart beats but has no life
Living everyday struggling in strife.
I have so much affection I want to give
Afraid that forever lonely I am going to live.
In the name of love, many tears I've shed
Grieving that romance is now forever dead.
