A Coagulated Lump of Heart Juice
My eyes search hot and hungry
For any sign you love me
This terrible pain within my soul
I want to dominate your senses
Just wreck all of your defenses
My inferno could burn you out of control
The intensity that which I explore you
Taking great detail to understand you
Leaves me spinning in the head
Though my fingers know their way
The touch of your skin is so great
I fear I might actually be dead
I devotedly drink up all your sin
The heaven of your skin
This flesh that tears my mind apart
Consumed with all our lust
In a flurry of moans I combust
Feeding you the nectar of my heart
As I unwind and slither down
Slipping breathlessly to the ground
I slide my eyes gratefully back to you
Though no answers were found
You're still a mystery then and now
My love for you burns hot and true

There is something about the mixture of pain and love that your words always ride on...a razor sharp fence of a bleeding heart torn and sewn back together again. I haven't been on the site much lately so when I do come, I read your poems first. I picked this one because of the title. Of course I wasn't disappointed. The difference in this one is that the passion that comes through makes me wish I knew what it felt like, the intensity of your feeling. My love and I are stable and steady, trusting and best friends, and I value this more than anything...but I also read your poems and wonder about the intensity behind your words, the feeling of loving desperately even when it hurts. It's likely a passion I'll never feel so I thank you for letting me feel it vicariously through your words.
