Friday Morning
It blows my mind when I think about your body
It stills my flow when I think about how you left
We knew it wouldn’t work, It didn’t work out lately
You left my bed, Got dressed, Took my keys right off the shelf
I kept sleeping thinking you’d still be here, Damn was I wrong
I still throw glasses at your fake tears; Damn I’m still not strong
We met on a Sunday night, By Friday you were gone
We fucked with the lights on, Cranked up every song
You were like crack that I couldn’t stop sniffing
Damn you smelled good but damn am I skinny
It still blows my mind when I feel your body
Then I wake up and realize it’s just a pillow
I pop in some toast and heat up some coffee
You didn’t even leave a note, Just got up a left ohhhh
You kept sleazing knowing I’d still be here, Damn you were right
I still throw bottles even my beer, Damn I still fight
Every turn of you kept me going
Every hit kept you owing
Exposed, Still showing
All we were kept glowing
We met on a Sunday night, By Friday you were gone
We fucked with the lights on, Cranked up every song
You were like crack that I couldn’t stop sniffing
Damn you smelled good but damn am I skinny
Every sound you made gave me new material
Every move I made gave you evidence against me
I doubted your chest but damn you were real
We never needed rest, Just turned up the AC
We met on a Sunday night, By Friday you were gone
We fucked with the lights on, Cranked up every song
You were like crack that I couldn’t stop sniffing
Damn you smelled good but damn am I skinny
