Independence (allow me my heart)
Gone are the days where I depended on thee
No longer retained
Tis' gone with the wind
With my selfless character
I allowed you to blindfold me
Retarded was I...
Master, you are that held my voice
I've been holding my breath in between my lungs
Allow me my heart
Allow me to exhale
I've engulfed and immersed my transparent soul
Unto your wicked diluted soul
Resemblance of gold but black on the inside
Pure imitation of Hitlers' soul
I've yearned all days of sorrow
To set my soul free from yours
Allow me my heart
Allow me to leave
Persistent memories remained unpleasantly to the tip of my mental screen
The art thou left in my body
As scars fancied marks by flogging
The refuge offered was unearthly
Dark and obfuscated
Deficient in light
From a single pump of your heartbeat
My love drifts slowly through the narrow pathe of your arteries
Allow me my heart
Let I depart
I've wept
Not tears, but blood instead
You gave rise to a woman whose viciousness has grown resistant of pain
I ask not of thee to grant my departure
Independence lied long in the mist of my psyche
With successful vertebrae down my spinal cord
I standeth on my own
Watch me leave my heart
I'm gone with the winds...
No longer retained
Tis' gone with the wind
