The Dark Heart
A dark heart burns fiercely.
A small seed of anger grows into deep rooted hatred.
No longer able to feel anything other than the black flames,
The man who is no longer a man continues to bleed.
A master actor, He feigns happiness to hide his desperation.
He surrounds himself with family, friends and relationships,
Yet unable to escape the captivity of his own inner isolation,
He remains forever alone.
Fueled by unfiltered rage, the dark heart burns ever stronger.
Slowly consuming the man who is no longer a man.
