The Witch And The Boy

The sky has started darkening.
He better start his thinking.
He's close to losing the one he adores the most.
Her feelings will no longer grow.

She's pissed.
She won't settle for another meaningless kiss.
A kiss that's full of lies and deceit.
Waiting for something that nobody could create.

He never put in any effort.
He just stayed away and left her.
She was all alone and needing him.
He's making his chances of keeping her slim.

He went away for too long without a word.
Doesn't he notice that he is her world?
She opens the door without touching it.
Lamps and tables hit the wall. Direct hit.

She's reverberating anger.
He's sitting in the corner, scared of danger.
She's coming closer.
She knows he's nothing but a poser.

She doesn't want to care about him anymore.
She wants to hit him, but instead turns to the door.
She can't cause the one she adores the most any pain.
She'd much rather have him kiss her in the rain.

Holding her as close as he can to his chest.
Telling her sweet things, making her mind rest.
She wants to be everything he ever wanted.
She knows she's not perfect and flaunts it.

Trying to get everyone to see how horrible she is.
None of them seem to want to believe this.
Don't any of them see?
They should know imperfect is all she will be.

She's still facing the door.
He's looking at her from the floor.
She starts to walk out.
Her mind is full of doubt.

He runs to her and catches her arm.
She turns around a bit alarmed.
They look into each other's eyes and she tries to resist.
He slowly leans forward and delivers a soft gentle kiss.

It's no longer meaningless. It's full of passion.
Both of them secretly hope it is everlasting.
He tells her that she's all he ever wanted in his whole life.
She believes despite the doubt, he's something he doesn't want to deny.
