An Angel's War..
Falling from the stars.
Her wings covered in a million scars.
Her tight rope act a fail,
All that's heard is her mournful wail.
Crashing into cold sorrow,
No one's love left to borrow.
Agony and pain.
She stands sobbing in the rain,
Bright eyes dark with tears.
It seems she's aged a million years.
All she has is the sword she wields,
Her enemy all equipped with shields.
She fights in tears,
She fights her demons and fears.
The razor grants her peace,
The pills grant her a release.
How could an angel so pure and kind
Get so lost, what escape can she find?
Lost in the war, the war is in her mind.
She wonders what is she fighting for?
This is nothing but a cold war.
Her haven is destroyed,
The enemy has been deployed
Her only option is to flee,
"The world will be better off without me..."
Her wings covered in a million scars.
Her tight rope act a fail,
All that's heard is her mournful wail.
Crashing into cold sorrow,
No one's love left to borrow.
Agony and pain.
She stands sobbing in the rain,

"The world will be better off without me..."
