On Bended Knee
On Bended knee
An original poem

On Bended knee
There is no rose that’s flawless,
there’s none that’s sent to thee
There’s not a movie out there,
that calls sweet music to me
There is no food that beckons,
with all its calories
As I think of all the things to do,
I think on bended knee
Of all the time were wasting,
just dating you and me
When all we have to do to end
the lonely nights
Is to take our hands and bodies
and simulate a fight.
We’ll rock, we’ll roll, you’ll twitch
and glow as I watch your juices flow,
all the while being loved way down
so far below
No there’s not a flawless rose,
that ever had your afterglow,
from which I now can see
The beauty in thee, all the while
I’m on bended knee
There simply is no rose that’s flawless,
that can ever compare to thee
