A[n't It Funny
Ain't It Funny
Ain't it funny that we are a laughing matter,
Created in God's image,
Yet we treat each other by race,
One thinks the other is better.
Ain't it funny that God is Love,
Yet we hate and we kill,
And we forget about The Father, above.
Ain't it funny, we talk about animals rights,
Yet we will see a brother hungry,
But we throws crumbs to the birds,
But for the hungry, our pockets are shut tight.
Ain't it funny we praise Dr. King
Yet go to any street,
That bears his name,
And look at all the violence it brings.
Ain't it funny, we all have the same Father,
Yet we keep dividing instead of uniting,
And so the wars continue,
Laughing turns to tears that flows like water.
Ain't it funny that we are a laughing matter,
Created in God's image,
Yet we treat each other by race,
One thinks the other is better.
Ain't it funny that God is Love,
Yet we hate and we kill,
And we forget about The Father, above.
Ain't it funny, we talk about animals rights,
Yet we will see a brother hungry,
But we throws crumbs to the birds,
But for the hungry, our pockets are shut tight.
Ain't it funny we praise Dr. King
Yet go to any street,
That bears his name,
And look at all the violence it brings.
Ain't it funny, we all have the same Father,
Yet we keep dividing instead of uniting,
And so the wars continue,
Laughing turns to tears that flows like water.
