Lost Dance Partners
I step back,
You step forward
Eyes boring into mine
Catch my hand and twirl me
Next a dip
Both of us smiling
This dance is first of many
So I hope
A partner who talks with there body
This night I will remember those eyes
The ones who haunt my dreams
Have we met before?
A stranger that is familiar
A friend who is a stranger
Who are you?
You step forward
Eyes boring into mine
Catch my hand and twirl me
Next a dip
Both of us smiling
This dance is first of many
So I hope
A partner who talks with there body
This night I will remember those eyes
The ones who haunt my dreams
Have we met before?
A stranger that is familiar
A friend who is a stranger
Who are you?
