Thank you! I appreciate your comment. I suppose that it may be intriguing to those who are not familiar with the druggie lifestyle. Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with it. But, drug abuse is part of my past, and I'm thankful that those drug fueled days are long gone. To me, they're just a bunch of blurry, old memories...I can't even imagine how many of my drug infused escapades are forgotten. But every now and then, one of those memories works its way out from all the goo in my head, and I'll try to write a poem about it. Though, this write is certainly not a verbatim scenario from just one memory!    

True...so true..I've never fell that far down but I've seen it..All around town...keeping my distance and morals..With some self respect left..I'll never let myself get to the place your poetic words go....thanks...

And I thank you for your comment. I'm pleased that you never got to that point...I know the painful regrets that addiction causes. Drug addiction is bad enough without having to realize all the pain that a drug abuser's immoralities causes to the lives of everyone affected by addiction.  

Ah the rattle of a bottle of pills...its still a trigger. Very honest, I like it.

I thank you for the kudos and appreciate your comment...and I wish you well with your efforts to kill the dragon. It is not an easy battle; but it is a battle that is fought and won everyday, everywhere. Support from friends, family and from those in similar situations is the key to a win
