our slow beginning long ago  
 your smile lives.. in memories  
wondering where you've gone  
 fragile.. vulnerability  
a look we both know    
 and share.. I was wrong  
   
dreams we understand  
 no longer there  
a flower from my hand  
 a wisp of hair  
captured time .. slows..  
 the night brings reminisce  
green amber flashes  
 blinking blind subtlety    
your smile, your laugh  
 your neck warm.. lingering  
soft echoes of our past  
 twilight's sorrow knows  
   
catching glimpses  
 we were lost within ourselves  
our world our only care  
 knowing all our touches  
yearning closer we were..  
 embraces held, eagerly ours  
   
never ending time  
 dreaming flow surrounds  
delicately entwined  
 longing kiss of yours my song  
silhouetted candle, running  
 cascading finger tips dance  
fervently change joyful cries  
 butterfly kisses sending

 mews, rhythm glides easy

 falling snow under the light  
wondering where you've gone  
 opaque windows from the cold  
lonely night.. dream wandering  
 clock ticking.. your photo smiles  
in shadow.. darkness cloaking thick  
 my soul flickers.. embers fade
