Rain Cloud

Rain cloud
Over my head
Won't leave
Until I'm dead
Why won't
It go away
I don't
want it to stay
It rains
Acid tears
My pains
& my fears
Come back
They make me sad
I'll crack
I'll go mad

The rain cloud won't leave me alone
Life's been made difficult
It tried to make me one of its own
Struck me down with a lightning bolt

I tried hard to avoid its path
It will never let me go
I tried hard to avoid its wrath
The sky is still indigo

Be my guide
You & I
Pull me through
Me & you
Stay with me
On this journey
Else this cloud
Will be my shroud

I need you to set me free
From constant gloomy weather
Take me from the cruelty
So we'll escape together

Will you be my sun
Brighten my day
Help this simpleton
Escape the grey

Be my guide
You & I
Pull me through
Me & you
Stay with me
On this journey
Else this cloud
Will be my shroud

She left swift
When she heard thunder
She left a rift
That filled with wonder

Forever alone
In land populated
Never to be shown
Always to be hated

Oh well
Under a curse
Her spell
Made it worse
Never
Getting a break
Ever
For my sake
Rain cloud
Still up there
Right up
Over my hair
Oh well
I can get by
Until
The day I die
