The bottom of the bottle

can you hear the sirens song
echoing at the bottom of the bottle
their plaintive cry seducing me to swirling tides
their only wish is to watch me perish
to crash upon perilous rocks

i must admit i get the thirst when my will is weak
and the burden is too heavy for my shackled  feet
whiskey brandy tequila gin i drink them all
a beguiling tempress how can i resist that mournful call
