Prayer of a Gift
(Prayer of a Gift)
As I lay my head to sleep I think about all the blessing God gave to me,
God gave everyone a gift to keep a goal to set and a wish to seek,
As I write this poem I notice my gift for writing this from me to you,
When day time is set goals are written and never to be forgotten the goals you set right above me,
As darkness fall wishing flow up in the dark blue sky right upon me,
As I close my eyes to sleep I pray for all that love and hate me.
Amen.
