A Letter For You
A Letter For You
Our backpacks became the back drops,
for cell phones and laptops,
had written letters replaced with,
catchy catch phrase complacent,
sentences on our Facebook,
so yeah I'm impatient,
up late and pacing,
decisions I'm debating,
that we are re making,
I will write you a letter,
right here and now,
in hopes that these words,
will reach you somehow,
some way, some day,
along the roadway,
maybe we'll find,
what we lost along the way,
where we lost us,
lost our minds,
and the cost was,
all of our time,
all of this,
all of us,
all I trust,
is, all of it,
and I don't know why,
do you?
why we are so high,
flying in blue,
our souls set sail,
fly like express mail,
this soul that I am screaming from,
expressive,
relaxing,
the rest is a breath of,
what is,
what's happening,
transformations mutating,
passion plays are radiating,
so into the future of now,
we are in the future, wow,
welcome,
come in,
we have in here a nice library,
but no one,
reads the books,
they're only decoratory,
classified in one category,
history, an outdated story,
all old, and moldy,
totally outdated,
relics of the past,
that's why they say that,
some things are too good,
too good to really last...
